A few summers spent filming his brother’s skateboard videos in Huntington, Indiana thrust Nick Jones into a career as a cinematographer at an early age. Nick refined his photographer’s eye by joining a covert missions group, filming in places like Morocco, Kazakhstan, Costa Rica, and Romania. It was this time spent in the field that made Nick the cinematographer that he is today.
At the age of 21 he joined with a small church in Oklahoma wanting to do great things in film. Seven years later Lifechurch.tv was one of the largest churches in the country, and Nick was looking to do more. He left his creative position at Lifechurch.tv, along with his sweet parking spot, to create Prolifik with Dave Schwarz.
Nick is an award winning director and photographer, but doesn’t really care much for people that throw awards around like they mean something. So you won’t hear him talk about it much. What you will hear about is his board game collection, his cycling victories, and the Kansas City Chiefs. Nick lives in Oklahoma City with his wife Rachel and their two dogs, Wrigley and Baxter.
After studying communications at Wheaton College, Dave’s professional career began as a producer/director for McDonald’s Corporation—creating industrial and training content, primarily for internal use. A decade ago he started an event production company in the southwest US to serve the needs of a growing number of corporate and broadcast clients.
But as a preacher’s kid, he was pulled back to his passion for creating experiences and telling stories that truly matter. Partnering with Nick to create Prolifik has allowed Dave to bring a career of experience serving Fortune 500 companies to churches, ministry movements and non-profit organizations.
Dave, Robin, Brandon and Kaylee are surrounded by friends and family in beautiful Saint Charles, IL where they enjoy seeing movies, time at the park, fishing, and bike riding.
