When long time recording artists, Newsong, asked us to shoot the music video for their single, “One True God”, we couldn’t wait to get started. After a series of discussions we landed on a concept that involved a multifloor building, huge light arrays, a massive room full of electronic gear, flux capacitors, and light bulbs. We decided that may be a bit hard to shoot, so we had BC fake it. The response to the video has been fabulous. Newsong took it on tour with them during Winter Jam 2011, showing it to tens of thousands of people over the course of two months. Our long running relationship with the Foursquare Church continued with their 2011 Convention. Prolifik was tasked with taking an existing logo and incorporating it into a series of motion and film pieces. This was a bit more difficult than it first seemed, as the logo was built on a design of interweaving curves mixed with a green/blue gradient. Over the course of a few months we completed the design and film package. It involved trips to Yakima, WA, Orange, NJ, and Denver, CO. “Only Love” is a short form documentary created in conduction with the One Campaign and the Willow Creek Association. In a previous session at the Global Leadership Summit, Bono had called out the evangelical church, saying we were in the middle of one of the biggest humanitarian crises the world had ever seen, and the church wasn’t doing anything about it. Years later we decided to check up with Bono and see how he felt about the church’s response.
